THE FORMATION OF BALLYCASTLE LODGES
Freemasonry in Ballycastle began in 1765 with the formation of the first Lodge. During the next sixty years four other Lodges were formed. The creation of other lodges took place in the areas around Cushendall, Armoy and Bushmills.
